Privacy policy
This policy describes the Android apps POS for Store Mini and Store Owner, together called Store POS. The app owner is Igor. Contact for data questions: +372 551 7209.
What data is used
- Sales: date and time, shop number and name, product names, quantity, price, discounts and purchase total.
- Technical data: random checkout and purchase identifiers, row numbers used for uploads, queue status and synchronization times. The checkout identifier is generated by the app; it is not the device serial number.
- Settings: language, products, receipt details, equipment connection settings and information about the connected spreadsheet.
- Google connection: the identifier and name of the selected spreadsheet, and the selected Google account address when Google returns it to the app. API access uses a short-lived token obtained through Google Play services.
- Owner report: sales records from the app's worksheets in the selected spreadsheet and a local copy of the downloaded report.
The apps do not request customer names, customer contact details or bank card numbers. Product names and other free-text fields are intended for sales information, not customer data.
Why Google access is needed
The POS creates or connects the selected Google spreadsheet and writes completed purchases to it. Store Owner reads the same spreadsheet to show items, purchase counts and totals by shop and date.
The only permission requested is https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. It limits access to files selected by the user or created through the app. The apps do not request access to Gmail, contacts, photos or the entire contents of Google Drive.
Sign-in is handled by Google. Store POS does not receive the Google password. The apps do not write access tokens to the sales database or diagnostic logs.
Where data is stored
The POS stores purchases, the upload queue, settings and print data in its app storage on Android. Store Owner keeps settings and a local report copy in its app storage. Android's automatic app data backup is disabled for this version.
When a spreadsheet is connected, the POS sends sales directly to Google Sheets over HTTPS. The spreadsheet is stored in the user's Google account. No separate Store POS server receives or stores sales.
Local sales and the report copy have no automatic deletion deadline. They remain until app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled. The spreadsheet remains until its owner deletes it in Google Drive, subject to Google's rules and account settings.
Data sharing and access
Data is sent to the selected Google spreadsheet. Its owner controls access through Google. Connected checkouts and owner tablets use the permissions of the Google account selected on each device.
On a print command, the POS sends receipt data to a compatible printer service. If a Hikvision recorder connection is configured, the current purchase text is sent to the equipment address specified by the user. This is data entered on the POS; the app does not forward reports downloaded from Google to the recorder or receive camera footage.
Store POS does not use Google data for advertising, selling data, assessing creditworthiness or training AI models. The apps contain no advertising or analytics modules. Technical diagnostics contain error types and codes; access to data for help with a specific problem is agreed separately with the user.
Use of information received through Google APIs is limited to the stated app functions and complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How to disconnect access and delete data
- Open the Google spreadsheet settings in the app menu and choose Disconnect. This removes the current connection and stops future synchronization. Data already uploaded and local copies are not deleted; a network request already in progress may finish.
- To revoke Google permission, remove Store POS access in your Google account connections. This does not delete the spreadsheet or local sales.
- To delete the spreadsheet, use Google Drive's file management. For permanent deletion, also empty the relevant Google Drive trash if needed.
- To delete local data, go to Android Settings → Apps → the app → Storage → clear data, or uninstall the app. Unsent purchases are lost. Copies on other devices must be deleted separately.
The app owner cannot remotely erase data from your devices or private Google spreadsheet. For questions about access and deletion, call +372 551 7209.
These information pages
The Store POS pages have no data collection forms, advertising, analytics scripts or app cookies. When a page is opened, the web host receives the technical HTTP request data needed to deliver it. The contact link lets you call the listed number.
Changes
This page will be updated if data handling changes. If a new type of access or a new purpose for Google data is needed, notice and consent will be requested before that use.
